Halloween party!!!!

We love going to ward parties when they give us the opportunity to dress up. With Halloween here, our traditional chili cook off was full of scary, crazy, and cute costumes. Take a look!

What a cute family! Actually, both times we have dressed up for this ward, people are always wondering who it is until we start talking.

Here's my crazy husband!!!

My eyes were the coolest part of my costume...although the huge boots with a 4 inch platform that buckled all the way up to my knees were pretty cool too but I forgot to take a picture of those.

Once again, our cute little poodle. Oh, how she loved the candy! She couldn't even wait to get the wrapper taken off.

She thought Isaac was pretty funny looking in his green monster suit...little did she know what she looked like. ;-)

Bret won again for the best costume! It fit him so well...he is a clown!!

The bishop's daughters were pretty great as Elphaba and Glenda from the Broadway hit "Wicked"

Dinosaur Park!

We had a fun time with Janelle and Davis at the Ogden Dinosaur Park. Boy did I really see the difference between a little boy and a little girl watching both Davis and Kezia. Davis loved sitting on the play dinosaurs and Kezia could care less. She enjoyed just walking around more than playing with the dinosaurs. Luckily, I got a few shots of Kezia.

Ew scary!

Oh NOOOOO Mom, it's got me!!!!!!!

Kezia and Davis walking and talking together. It sure is fun to see them grow up!

Happy Birthday Kezia!!

It's official, Kezia is now ONE. Wow, was that one of the fastest years ever!!! We had a little party for Kezia and I thought I would be brave and attempt making a cake. My friend Stacey made a really cool looking cake for her little girl and I wanted to kind of do the same thing. So with some tips from her, I set out Monday afternoon to make Kezia a cool looking cake. After I had baked them and began to frost the cake I thought to myself, "Katrena, why didn't you just buy one?" However, with a bit more frosting and a little bit of decorations it turned out pretty good...at least I thought so. The best part was my mom's surprise. She never thought I could make such a cool looking cake. Anyway, here are some pictures of Kezia's party.

This little one was just for Kezia to dig into.

Yep, I even did the lettering with frosting in a zip-lock bag.
The inside was the coolest part!

This is about all we got from Kezia. Maybe next year will be more entertaining. :-)

Kezia loved all of her presents!! She was spoiled! Here she is helping Grandma Millie put together her shopping cart.

Kezia: "How dare Davis take my cart!" Davis: "Ha ha ha! I got the cart!!!"

Emma was really excited for the presents! She's even doing a little celebration cheer!

Kezia loves her lion from Grandma and Grandpa Wilson.

The blow-up swimming pool with the balls in it from Grandma Ellett was a hit! The kids loved playing in them! Daddy was making the balls bounce up and Kezia thought it was so funny!

Davis liked it too!

As everybody was getting ready to leave we found Davis had maneuvered the chair so he could get something to snack on.

Ethan and Uncle Bret!

At the Halloween party Ethan climbed up on the recliner with Uncle Bret and was teasing him and having a good time with him. I loved this picture of Ethan!

Ethan rubbing Bret's head!!

The boys were both growling!

All of a sudden Ethan went to bite Bret's nose! It was so funny!

Ethan was all over Bret! I was dying laughing!

Of course it all ended with Bret tickling Ethan to death!
Well, if any of you know my mom then you know that Halloween is her favorite Holiday. Of course she would have a Halloween party for her grand kids. Her house was all decked out and looked great. Some of the younger kids were pretty scared...especially Clayton. Here is a picture of most of the kids!

Here's Anjelena's family minus Clayton and Violet.

Oh how I love Kennen!!! He is always making me laugh! Yes, that is Anjelena's old Brockbank Junior High cheer leading outfit.

Kezia liked Grandma's Frankenstein!

Many of the kids were afraid of this talking, singing, moving skeleton but not Kearstynn and Charlesse...those cute little witches!

These two costumes were perfect for these boys. Kahner as Woody and Korvin as Wolverine!

Down town with Lance and Beth

My brother Lance, his wife Beth, and my cute little nephew Ethan came to Utah from North Carolina. We had a lot of fun spending time with them. I am going to post a few of those fun times together. We decided we would take Trax downtown since we none of us ever had.
Here we are waiting for the train to come.

Beth and I with the kids!
Here's Kezia enjoying the ride!

The kids really enjoyed the water show at the Gateway. Ethan was so excited to see the water he would wave his arms. It was so cute!
