Zions National Park

Over Memorial weekend Bret, me, Janelle and Dean decided to take a trip to Zion's National Park. We did a lot of hikes and had a lot of fun together.

This is the first arch we saw! We named it Bret's arch.

Making our way up to Angel's Landing. Talk about a tough hike! Here is a picture of Walter's Wiggles.

We had to hike to the top of this mountain...you can see how narrow it got.

The view was amazing and worth it!

On our way up to Hidden Canyon

The great outdoors

Bret and I love the outdoors. We love to go hiking, camping, snowshoeing, rock climbing, and mountain biking.

Bret and I doing some rock climbing up in the Uintas.

Bret, me, Janelle, and Dean hiked up to this waterfall.

Bret and I decided to go on a backpacking hike. It was my first time back packing. When we got there it was really pretty as you can see.

Well, Bret called this canyon Bell's canyon...my name for this canyon is Hell's canyon. This picture does not do the hike any justice. We were hiking for hours up these huge bolders with your big backpack on. So now it is called "Hell's canyon"

Like always the view was absolutely gorgeous when we found our spot to camp.

Bret and Katrena

Bret and I met at a Singles Region Activity. It was a huge tail gating party before the football game up at the University of Utah. I was playing catch with my roommate when Bret came walking by. I yelled, "Hey!" and then threw the football at him. It's a good thing he caught it or he might not have gotten a second look. :-) The best part of the whole story is he was going to the party to see a girl he liked, and I was going because of a guy I liked. Good thing they both were playing hard to get. We ended up hanging out the whole time together and then later that night I asked him if he wanted to go to the movies. He said yes and it was a good thing because I was able to see him without his face painted all red on one side and all white on the other. From that day on we were together everyday till we were married.

St. Patricks Day 2007

Bret and I were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on St. Patrick's Day 2007. Luckily, it turned out to be a beautiful day!
I love this picture of my crazy family!! Bret needs to work on his faces don't you think?
